A Missing Middle Case Study

Contract research for the South Australian State Planning Department, describing a Missing Middle case study in the bluefield model.

Commissioned by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure on behalf of the South Australian State Planning Commission, this case study explains in simple form the opportunity that exists to increase the density of existing inner-Adelaide suburbs without the loss of existing housing stock. It was included in the South Australian State Planning Commission’s ‘People and Neighbourhoods Policy Discussion Paper’, part of the consultation process for South Australia’s new Planning and Design Code.
